They focused on how to find peers more easily, tweaking the P2P auto BP peer feature to fit the new consensus rules, and sorting out how to handle ever-changing Block Producer (BP) connection details. Security was a big deal too, especially around managing keys for BPs and finalizers, and the risks of having connection details out in the open. The whole idea was to make the network tougher, safer, and able to grow without a hitch.
